New Business

Sen. Washington-Jones: Bill brought to the floor: "Fall Event of 2015," allocating $1500 for the Color War event. We're gonna have a variety of games that incorporate colored powder and paint. We won't be using all $1500. We're going to give out 25 free t-shirts. If you are interested in getting a shirt, let me or V.P. Hollis know and you can pay for one. We will use $250 for shirts, $350 for food, and $200 for supplies. We should be coming in well under $1000, and so the rest will go back to the general fund.

Sen. Reddy: Where will the color come from?

Sen. Washington-Jones: We'll be making it.

P.P.T. Goode: I realize this bill is a lot vaguer than normal; we wrote it just a few minutes ago. Normally things are much more detailed than this

V.P. Hollis: This $1500 is what we budgeted for the event.

Sen. Bartels: Where will the leftover resources go?

V.P. Hollis: We will use all of the paint. The rest of the leftover supplies will go to development or help with events for other organizations.

Sen. Sosa: Is it paint or powder?

V.P. Hollis: We're making it from corn starch and water.

P.P.T. Goode: I would ask that unless you have specific objections to the bill, please save questions for later and direct them to the Events Committee chair. We're under a very short time budget today.

The bill passes.

Announcements

V.P. Hollis: If you're getting a shirt, I need your size today.

Meeting adjourned at 11:16 am.
