Sen. J. Swehla: The library situation is being handled.

Sen. Washington-Jones: The Color War will be happening this weekend.

Old Business

Sen. Jobe: I would like to rescind the “Barber Act of 2015.”

P.P.T. Goode: Reminds Senator Jobe to bring the bill back to the floor.

The bill is rescinded.

Sen. Davenport: Bill brought to the floor: "Senate Marker Purchase Order Bill of 2015."

Sen. Cerceo: There is a typo in the bill. 

P.P.T. Goode: We'll make edits.

Sen. J. Swehla: Is Senate taking on the responsibility of supplying ASC with markers?

V.P. Hollis: No, that was a one time project to better student life.

P.P.T. Goode: This is kind of like a student project.

Sen. J. Swehla: Are the markers going to be refillable?

P.P.T. Goode: These markers are consumable.

Sen. Whipple: How many are we buying?

V.P. Hollis: $50 worth.

Sen. Meadows: Are we only buying black markers?

V.P. Hollis: No, multiple colors will be purchased.

P.P.T. Goode: Funds leftover will be returned to the general account.

Sen. Wise: Can we move this bill to a vote?

The bill passes.

V.P. Hollis: Chief Schultz has asked us to follow the lockdown procedure that will take place next week. Reads the information Chief has provided.

Sen. Hartsfield: Who is authorized personal? 

V.P. Hollis: Any faculty.

Sen. Reddy: Is there a date/time when the drill will take place?

V.P. Hollis: Only very few, select people know the times. It will be a “Drill.”

V.P. Hollis: Chief has an open door policy. Please visit him with any questions you may have.

P.P.T. Goode: Can we send the Senate members to the security committee?

V.P. Hollis: I would rather see questions regarding the drill be directed to the Chief. Wanda Davis moved the shirt box. Shirts will be given out soon. Talks about group pictures and reminds everyone to follow dress code. Can anyone go get ice cream, if not we will not have ice cream

Sen. Huff: How much ice cream are we buying?

V.P. Hollis: It will fit in a small car. Describes the process of how to purchase the ice cream.

Sen. Hartsfield: Recycle bins will be placed where asked. Also reminds Senate to inform the correct people that repairs need to be made, because facilities is not being notified.

Sen. J. Swehla: When will they start emptying the bins?

Sen. Hartsfield: They are looking into hiring more people to empty the bins.

V.P. Hollis: Explains “Deck The Mall.”
