Officer Reports

Committee Reports

Sen. Butler: Last night we had a meeting with the Chief of Police and Executive Officer. There were a lot of students there to continue the campus security talk and to discuss possible student life projects.

Old Business

Sen. Meadows: The Constitution Committee met and decided that the SICP Funding Bill of 2015 is unconstitutional.

V.P. Hollis: If you have any questions about why, you can talk to P.P.T. Goode or Senator Meadows.

New Business

Sen. J. Swehla: Bill brought to the floor: "Christmas Event Funding Act of Fall 2015," allocating $550 to conduct a Christmas-themed event. The money is to be used for the purchase of food and beverages. This is the funding for the event tonight.

V.P. Hollis: Executive Cabinet gave us $150 so we just needed a little more from our budget.

The bill passes.

V.P. Hollis: Today we have some special business to discuss. According to the events that happened a couple of weeks ago, Tyler Finn will no longer be serving with us. Senator Finn, we want to thank you for your service. This is nothing against him, but it is a reminder that we are serving the people, so they do have a voice. If you have any questions, you can refer them to me, P.P.T. Goode, or Steve Conn.

Open Forum

Chaplain Carl: This is a live survey that I'm doing with four different groups. This counts because the statistics we gather go back to the Spiritual Life Committee. It is important to vote your opinion.

Chaplain Carl conducts Live Chapel Student Survey.

Chaplain Carl: If you have any other suggestions or ideas, send me an email. I am happy to share results if you want to see them as well.

Meeting adjourned at 11:51 am.
